  • Hosea Helps

Hosea Helps is celebrating 50 years of Hosea Feed The Hungry and Homeless! Create a volunteer account and register to volunteer for one of the Holiday Dinners.

Registration for Hosea Feed the Hungry & Homeless Christmas Drive-Thru Event is NOW OPEN! Please note that the event will take place on Thursday, December 24, 2020, NOT on Christmas Day. We will be combining our Christmas Dinner Event and our Children’s Christmas Party on this date.

In an effort to maintain social distancing measures and to keep our volunteers safe at the event, we have a few important things to note:

There will be a reduced number of slots available. Based on the changes made to this event, we will only utilize about 15% of the volunteers we typically need.

There will be no Set-Up or Food Prep events prior to the Christmas Event. We will set up this event on the day of and we will not be serving prepared food.

We will provide PPE for all volunteers. We will have face masks, face shields, gloves, hand sanitizer, and gowns. You are welcome to use whatever you need. Feel free to bring your own masks, if you prefer.

You must register for the event in advance to volunteer. Since we will need significantly fewer volunteers than usual, we may not be able to accommodate any walk-ins. Please register online to secure your spot. Also, if you plan to stay for more than one shift, please register only once.

We will conduct a brief COVID-19 screening at check-in. We will take your temperature and ask a few questions about your contact with COVID-19 before you get started. This process should take up less than a minute of your check-in time.

As usual, parking is free and we look forward to seeing you there! Please use the link below to view the available shifts and register for the event.
