Volunteers will create Happy Father’s Day messages, and other encouraging messages and drawings using sidewalk paint and chalk to lift the spirits of their elders at AG Rhodes.
Donate Musical Instruments
Pebble Tossers is hosting a Musical Instruments Drive in June to support the Corners Music Academy. This new program is unique because it’s comprised of students who can pay for lessons and students (Corners kids) who are given free music lessons. At Corners, they believe in bridging the gaps between cultures and income levels and through Corners Music Academy, they bring these two communities together. Pebble Tossers is excited to help Corners Outreach bring music to those who can’t often afford private lessons.
Instruments needed include:
• ELECTRIC Pianos/Keyboards
• Acoustic Guitars
• New Recorders
• Brass/Orchestral instruments (These instruments may also be donated to local Title 1 School Music Programs)
Drop Off Dates & Locations: Please email the date you plan to drop off and what type of instruments to firstname.lastname@example.org. If these dates and times are not convenient for you, email email@example.com to set up another time.

Cheer Squad for Art Camp
The Spruill Center for the Arts hosts art camps throughout the summer. Kids are sometimes nervous on the first day of a new camp. So a Cheer Squad is needed on the first day of camp each week to create a welcoming experience for the campers. Volunteers participate on the first day of camp each week to be the “cheer squad” to welcome campers as they come to carpool in a festive manner. Volunteers can make signs from home to help welcome the campers. They will play music, have a bubble machine, etc. to help with the cheering.
Create Art Kits for CHOA
Throughout the years, Children’s has relied on families, individuals and groups for a variety of donations for their patients and families. Since volunteers can’t visit in person to host activities for the families they are accepting Art Kits that you can create from home. The Art Kits help the patients briefly escape their situation by allowing them to focus on creative and fun activities.

Paint Kindness Rocks
Drop a little love and kindness around town by creating kindness rocks. They can be spread around your neighborhood or call your local assisted living center or nursing home and ask if you can place them around their gardens or courtyards.
Junior Volunteer Counselors for Art Camps
The Spruill Center for the Arts fosters creativity and social connections through the arts. They offer a variety of classes and summer camps. Volunteers (aged 15+) are needed for their Summer Camp program to assist instructors and to enhance the experience for their campers (ages 5-10). This will be a full week of volunteer hours where volunteers will work with one age group of campers and a teacher for the week.
